So at family night tonight we were talking about if Gemma and Chris (my brother and his girlfriend) are going to have a boy or a girl.
So my sister and I made a bet.
If its a boy my sister has to get “Matthew was right” tattooed somewhere and if its a girl I have to get “Sam was right” tattooed on me.

We anticipate opening the ladder in 2 weeks time with the rules being added early next week. Currently the rules will be very similar to the 16v16 ladder with the exception being the rule of no mortar use.
I am sure a few teams will enjoy this format.
Oh also there will be servers for the top teams, further information to come.

just wanted to give a shout out to Australia on this fine day. Looks like the rain is clearing up and the flood waters a going down so it should be a good day.

So, Volume Two of the Future Balance Changes. We’ve recently updated with patches that have changed some balance items, and the community has responded with feedback. This list includes some direct responses to that feedback, as well as a very important issue close to several player’s hearts: Aggressive Recon.

Bolt action sniper rounds now have a chance to kill at close range if the player is hit in the upper chest.

Why are we making this change?
-Aggressive Recon was a popular (and controversial) play style in BFBC2, the fact that the playstyle is essentially not present in BF3 has been a disappointment to many players.
-The balance issues of BC2 (Magnum ammo increasing the 1 hit kill range) is not present in BF3, the range is set and cannot be improved by players. Additionally the 1 hit kill is not guaranteed in BF3, the target is small and can be blocked by the player’s arms.

With the rV. boy on the next AW map we need to play.

Hi all,

We will release an update to the PC version of BF3 on Dec 6th — that is, Tuesday morning around 8AM GMT next week. This coincides with an upgrade of many of our central systems which will be down for some hours starting around that time.

It will be both a client update — approximately 2GB in size — and a server update.

The client/server combination will be incompatible with older clients/servers. All players will be prompted to download the update once it has been released. All RSP companies will begin upgrading their servers at the same time.

The client update is large because it contains most of the content for Back to Karkand. This is not ideal, so we aim to make potential DLC content in the future as optional downloads.

Bugfixes:
Fixed a problem with spawn timer now showing blue border on startup and lost spawn point
