couple of issues, but easy fixed if they wish to.
Here’s my random thoughts on it.
Op guns, every one falls down pretty dam quick. Save that shit for campmode.
Server browser seems to work pretty well just a real different way of doing it, taking a little to get used to maybe.
Can’t bind my mouse buttons at the moment.
Hit rego seems good. ( fuck yea ). But that might be because of the op guns.
Game feels smoother than bc2.
Movement feels good.
On medium graphics I’m getting 90 to 140 fps at 1680*1050.

So after listening to Mat last night buying new pc bits, I thought it would be nice to see some sort of pc performance score for IPXer’s computers. I’d like to see how some of the new mid range stuff that has come out recently compares to some of the ageing super computers that some have.

What we need is a good free base program to use, so we all are measured equally. Any suggestions?

New Maps

• Founders’ Tower – The revolution finally reaches the island’s iconic spire and takes the battle for the Ark to dizzying heights.
  * Labs – Venture into the depths of the Ark’s original research and development laboratories, a submerged high-tech facility so far untouched by the civil war.

New Player Abilities

• UAV – This stealthy and lethal device allows Operatives to automatically mark nearby enemies on their radar. For more explosive fun, they can even take direct control of the UAV and detonate it near unsuspecting foes.
  * Napalm Grenade – Soldiers can use this new grenade to cover an area in a sea of deadly flames.
  * Pyro Mine – Engineers can plant these mines and leave enemies in the epicenter of a massive napalm explosion.
  * Field Regen Unit – Medics can deploy these units to increase the health regeneration of any nearby teammates.

Hi Battlefield fans! We are happy to announce the release of the new PC patch version R9 for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on October 29th.

We examined the different issues submitted by the community in the thread called “My biggest issues” on the forum. Additionally we have collected feedback for some time now and incorporated a lot of community wishes, so we are really excited to release this.

Please note: All game servers will need to be taken down for updates. The maintenance period starts on Friday, October 29th at 06:00 AM GMT. Most of the servers should be back up by 10:00 AM GMT. The patch is roughly 900 MB in size.

How to get the game client updated

• If you are using Steam: the Steam client will automatically begin updating your game client once Oct 29th, 6:00 AM (GMT) has passed by.

• If you are not using Steam: then the game’s online updater will find the version online at the same hour and ask you to patch.
